EVALUATION: QUESTION 3

What have you learned from your audience feedback?
I have asked my audience about their opinions during many stages of my production in order to provide the specific requirements that they want. In the creation of my album cover, I asked my audience what they thought about my initial idea. Here is the example, and what they thought of it:

Rachael: I think that the image needs to be in colour, but I like the red font colour as it really hints towards the romantic narrative :)
Izzy: I love the font colours, how they are both different, but joined together! I think the album cover would look better with a bit of colour though!

Having recieved this feedback, I acted upon their words and changed the image into colour and added some effects to it. I also changed the font colour as it did not match, Here was the final copy after the feedback.

Rachael: That's much better! I really like the colours in the photo and the tint of green/blue :)
Izzy: I love how the font colours match the photo, looks really good! :D

I also did this with my Music video. I showed my audience this video, and filmed their responses.

I also showed my video to my target audience, as shown in this photograph:

Here is my finished video, after the feedback. I took on board everything they had said, and tried to change as much as I could to suit their needs.
I also used questionnaires, as part of my planning and research, to see what thier interests were in music, and what they thought a good music video would be. Having this information was very useful, and guided me through the construction of my piece and gave me a more widened variety of ideas to use.

Another audience input that I had was opinions on song choice, and initial ideas. This was very useful as I was able to change my ideas at an early stage, and see if the ideas would appeal to my target audience.
